Oahe Data LLC ("Oahe Data," "we," "us," or "our") is a South Dakota limited liability company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we handle when you visit oahe.ai (the "Site") or write to us.
This policy covers the Site and our correspondence with you. The products and services we provide are covered by our separate written agreements with our clients, which describe how information is handled there.
1. Information we receive
When you write to us. The contact buttons on the Site open a message in your own email app. If you send it, we receive your email address, your name, and whatever you choose to include, such as your organization, your role, and your question.
When you visit the Site. Like most websites, the Site is delivered through a hosting and content delivery provider. That provider automatically records standard technical information, such as IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the date and time, in order to deliver the Site and protect it from abuse. We do not use this information to identify individual visitors.
What we do not collect. The Site does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other websites. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the Site from automated abuse.
Please do not send us sensitive personal information, such as individual health records, Social Security numbers, or financial account numbers, by email.
2. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- reply to you and continue the conversation you started;
- deliver, secure, and maintain the Site; and
- meet our legal obligations.
We do not send marketing email to people who have not asked for it.
3. How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.
We share information only:
- with service providers that help us run the Site and our email, under obligations to protect it and to use it only for our purposes;
- when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Oahe Data or others; and
- at your direction or with your consent.
4. Tribal data sovereignty
We respect the sovereign authority of Tribal Nations over their data. Where a Tribal Nation or tribal organization shares data with us under a written agreement, that agreement controls. Nothing in this policy limits any right or protection a Tribal Nation has under its own laws or under federal law.
5. Our products and services
The Site describes the products and services we provide, including the Sovereign Datacenter Package. Each is provided under our separate written agreement with the client, and that agreement, not this policy, governs how information is handled.
6. How long we keep information
We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed for the conversation and for our ordinary business records, and then delete it. You can ask us to delete your messages sooner.
7. Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, and the Site is served over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. To report a security concern about the Site, write to hello@oahe.ai.
8. Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to hello@oahe.ai. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor them.
9. Children
The Site is intended for organizations and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Where information is processed
We operate in the United States, and information is processed and stored in the United States.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page.
